How many leads do I need to hit my revenue target?
Work backwards from the target. Divide your revenue goal by average deal size to get deals needed, then divide by your close rate to get opportunities, then by your meeting-to-opportunity rate to get meetings, then by your meeting-booking rate to get the leads or emails required.
For example, if you need 10 deals, close 25% of opportunities, and convert a third of meetings to opportunities, you need roughly 120 qualified meetings — which, at one to two meetings per 1,000 well-targeted emails, sets your sending volume. A lead-volume calculator makes this concrete for your own numbers.
