This Cookie Policy explains how BookedCalls.ai (operated by Epic Software Labs Ltd, company number 16576534) uses cookies and similar technologies on bookedcalls.ai and our admin / client applications.

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Some are essential for the site to work; others help us understand how visitors use it; others enable specific features like keeping you signed in.

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

  • Authentication — Clerk session cookies (`__client`, `__session`) for our admin and client apps. Without these you cannot stay signed in.
  • Theme preference — a `theme` localStorage entry remembers your dark/light choice.
  • Cookie consent — `bookedcalls_cookie_consent` records your response to our cookie banner so we don’t ask again.

Analytics (consent required)

  • PostHog — sets cookies and localStorage entries (`ph_*`, `ph_session_*`) to give us anonymous insight into pageviews, click paths, and conversion funnels on the marketing site. Hosted in the EU. Disabled by default until you click Accept on the cookie banner.

Third-party functional cookies

  • Stripe — on the customer billing page, Stripe’s embedded checkout sets cookies for fraud prevention and session continuity. These are required to take payment.
  • Cal.com — if you book a discovery call via the embedded Cal.com widget, Cal sets its own cookies for the booking flow.

You can change your analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for bookedcalls.ai — this will re-display the cookie banner on your next visit and let you re-choose Accept or Reject.

You can also disable cookies at the browser level, though this will break features that rely on them (you won’t be able to stay signed in).
