Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

Definition

A detailed description of the type of company that is the best fit for your product or service. An ICP typically includes firmographic criteria such as industry, company size, revenue, location, and technology stack.

Why It Matters

A well-defined ICP is the foundation of any successful outbound campaign. Targeting the wrong companies wastes budget, burns sender reputation, and produces low-quality meetings. The tighter your ICP, the higher your reply rates and conversion rates.
